The Wheaton Municipal Band's season opener celebrates the joy of making music in Wheaton's beautiful Memorial Park. Band students from Wheaton North and Wheaton Warrenville-South High Schools will join the band for an antiphonal finale that you will not want to miss. Organized by the Exchange Club of Naperville, the 2022 Ribfest will be held June 17–20, 2022 at the DuPage Event Center and Fairgrounds in Wheaton, Illinois. The event will include a carnival by Fantasy Amusements Co., a variety of award-winning ribs, Wintrust Community Banks Family Fun Area and exhibits with no entry fee. A dedicated entertainment area will host premium artists each day (tickets required). Bring your own picnic and join us for an evening full of fun. Games, activities, animal visits, and after-hours access to the zoo are all included in your fee. The Wild Side Gift Shop will also be open. This event is held rain or shine. 50% of proceeds support conservation of the monarch butterfly. Preregistration is required.
