Description
Seven Gables Park will be transformed into an awe-inspiring vista to our honor servicemen and women, first responders, and local heroes. June 29–July 4. Thousands of United States flags will stand united in this incredible display. This tribute to our heroes will call our community together to share moments of solemn, patriotic appreciation. Each of the flags represents an individual and tells a story.
The Stars & Stripes reminds us that Americans are stronger together. We meet the challenges of history and overcome hardships, which help us grow stronger still. Our heroes set the pace for how we all aspire to act. The United States flag represents our solidarity in creating a brighter tomorrow and uniting us all.
Flags may be sponsored to honor individuals currently serving in our active-duty military, fallen servicemen & women, first responders, heroes in our lives, all veterans, and home town heroes.
This moving display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships, and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.
This is an experience hard to describe, but never to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Wheaton Park District and Warrenville VFW Post 8081 Field of Honor® patriotic display and walk with us among the posted flags.
The display is open to all without charge. Make plans to come out and see this incredible tribute!
