Edman Chapel Spectacular August 5, 2023 | Edman Chapel at Wheaton College, Wheaton | 8:00 pm Our Edman Chapel concert this year features a variety of audience favorites that display the virtuosity of the performers in the Wheaton Municipal Band. Glow in the Park (21+) Saturday, August 12, 7 pm–midnight | Cantigny Park Grab your friends and GLOW in the Park! This event is designed for adults ages 21 and over who want to relive the nostalgia of the 90’s and early 2000’s with a twist of grown-up fun. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a dazzling display of neon colors and glow-in-the-dark decorations. One of These Nights: An Eagles Tribute Sunday, August 13 | 3–5 pm | Cantigny Park | Allée In 2007, national award-winning cover band Maggie Speaks was asked to create a 2+ hour note-for-note tribute to the Eagles and their solo work for a corporate event in Cabo San Lucas. The show was such a success that they decided to keep doing a limited run of shows each year at festivals, casinos, performing arts centers, and corporate gatherings. Music Through the Gardens As the sun begins to set at Cantigny Park, several solo musicians will take to their instruments and begin to play. The soft melodies and soothing rhythms of their music fill the air. Stroll through the gardens, admiring the natural beauty around you while enjoying the soothing sounds. Each garden will feature a different genre of music ranging from classical to modern pop. A nice selection of food trucks will be on site, or bring a picnic from home.
