Every concert is different and offers a glimpse into the challenges facing an 89-piece concert band which performs a new concert each week. \nThe free concerts represent a collaboration between The City of Wheaton\, The Wheaton Park District\, the WMB Board and the Friends of the Wheaton Municipal Band. Known as one of the finest bands of its kind in the country\, the Wheaton Municipal band\, under the direction of Dr. Bruce Moss\, wows audiences with its stunning sound and brilliant musicianship. Musicians from all over the Chicagoland area audition for the coveted spots in the band. Each week the musicians rehearse new music on Wednesday\, for a performance on Thursday. Every concert is different and offers a glimpse into the challenges facing an 89 piece concert band which performs a new concert each week. The free concerts represent a collaboration between The City of Wheaton\, The Wheaton Park District\, the WMB Board and the Friends of the Wheaton Municipal Band. SUMMARY:Cantigny Easter Egg Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Easter Fun in Cantigny Park\nSunday\, March 24 | 10:00 am–4:00 pm | Parking: $5 per car\nCantigny’s annual Easter Egg Hunt returns! Stop by for some colorful family fun. The egg hunt is an “open house” event—come whenever you wish. Eggs will be available in the allée throughout the day and replenished periodically. Just bring your own basket or bag. \nDetails: \n\nEach child may redeem five (5) eggs for a prize. Take the eggs to the prize redemption area located near the Tank Park and restrooms. One prize per child.\nIf your child collects more than five we suggest that you re-hide the surplus eggs for other families to enjoy.\nThe eggs you find will be empty. Please do not open or smash them.\nPlease return all eggs collected to the redemption area and do not take them home.\n\nPhotos with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny\nTake a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny from 10 am – 4 pm in the Visitors Center backyard. Please note\, photos with Mrs. Bunny will be unavailable from 1 – 1:30 pm and photos with Mr. Bunny will be unavailable from 1:30 – 2 pm. \nSpring Craft\nCreate a springtime memory in the Medill Room (inside the Visitors Center). Color a ceramic “puppy bank\,” while supplies last. $5 each. (cash only) \n\nConcessions\nTasty lunch items and drinks will be offered in the northwest corner of the McCormick Allée. Enjoy hot dogs\, brats\, pulled pork sandwiches\, jambon-beurre sandwiches\, or three-bean chili. Chips and candy bars will also be available. Thirsty? Choose from a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar\, domestic and craft beer\, wine\, soft drinks\, lemonade\, or water. \nBrunch Buffet at Le Jardin…no reservations needed!\nHop by Le Jardin (in the Visitors Center) before or after your egg hunt adventure for a buffet featuring brunch classics like waffles\, scrambled eggs\, sausage\, bacon\, and breakfast potatoes. We’ll have lunch favorites\, too\, including Chicken Vesuvio\, mac & cheese\, garden salad\, roasted potatoes\, green beans\, and assorted desserts. \n  \nExplore More Details >

Cosley Zoo is transformed into a winter wonderland with thousands of twinkling lights\, an amazing selection of Christmas trees\, wreaths and greenery\, hot chocolate\, and a unique assortment of holiday gifts in the Wild Side Gift Shop. \nAll proceeds from this event benefit Cosley Zoo. Admission is free during the festival.
