DESCRIPTION:Free Concert in Memorial Park\nJuly 31\, 2025 | 7:30 pm | Memorial Park\, Wheaton\nBack by popular demand\, The Wheaton Municipal Band takes the stage at Memorial Park in downtown Wheaton for its 96th season. Known as one of the finest bands of its kind in the country\, the Wheaton Municipal band\, under the direction of Dr. Bruce Moss\, wows audiences with its stunning sound and brilliant musicianship. Musicians from all over the Chicagoland area audition for the coveted spots in the band. Each week the musicians rehearse new music on Wednesday\, for a performance on Thursday. Every concert is different and offers a glimpse into the challenges facing an 89-piece concert band which performs a new concert each week. \nThe free concerts represent a collaboration between The City of Wheaton\, The Wheaton Park District\, the WMB Board and the Friends of the Wheaton Municipal Band.
