Step back in time to Edo (modern-day Tokyo)\, when the city thrived under shogunate rule as Japan’s cultural and economic center\, celebrating the arts\, nature\, and the pleasures of everyday life. \nThe multi-faceted experience centers around the world-class presentation of a 60-piece collection making its U.S. debut\, featured as “Museum Galleries – Chiossone Collection” in the exhibition. The collection features 53 paintings and woodblock prints by the masters of ukiyo-e\, including original works by Hokusai\, Hiroshige and their contemporaries\, and 17 handcrafted objects. \nThe Cleve Carney Musem of Art is located on the College of DuPage campus\, just west of Park Boulevard in Glen Ellyn\, Illinois.
